That is perfectly fine! You can still read and come to discuss a book you have read.
Here is a step-by-step breakdown of what needs to be done if you cannot attend the meeting:
Look into that specific month's post about the books being discussed that month. From there, you can either (a) Select a book that is accessible online or is available through the Lamar Library (b) Contact me through remind and we can work out the situation together
Let me know through Remind the book you have chosen
Read and be prepared for the final meeting of the month where we will discuss!
However, I highly recommend that you do not miss the meeting at the end of the month for that is when most of the discussion pertaining to the books are done. But, if for some reason, you absolutely cannot come to that meeting, it is alright. You can discuss that book next month, or not discuss it and jump straight into the next book.
With this being said, check the calendar on this site and see if you have any scheduling conflicts beforehand.
